Role of maps in the personal construction of spaces.
Google maps, atlas, A-Z - How have these contributed to how you navigate a space, make sense of your near surroundings.
These maps allow a birds eye view of your home, area, postcode, route to work, route to the cinema. How would our constructs of space be different if we didn't have access to this birds eye view? This view is not part of our 'natural' view or perception of a space.
Do we perceive journeys as satellite maps or as actual/visual 3D places?

Our mental maps are all individual, they are also built on experiences of places, memory and people; how do we mentally represent spaces we've never been or seen, perhaps by their location on a A-Z map.
